Guide 02 · Video models

Which video model to use

No single model wins at everything. The trick is matching the model to the job: a talking avatar, a cinematic shot, lip-sync, or a cloned presenter on camera. Pick the shot type first, then pick the model below. Model names stay in English as they appear inside the tools.

Gemini Omni

Start here · most jobs

If you want one model to cover most of your needs, start here. Versatile and strong at lip-sync, so it is the best for dialogue scenes and direct-to-camera speech.

Kling 3.0

Cinematic · B-roll

The strongest for cinematic motion and camera moves, and for turning a still image into video. Use it for product shots and scenes that need a cinematic feel.

Seedance 2.0

Avatars · presenters

The strongest option for talking avatars and characters. Use it when the hero is a person or avatar who speaks and acts with their face.

The quick rule

Match the model to the job, not the job to the model. Decide the shot type first, whether dialogue, cinematic, avatar or presenter, then pick from above.
